If payment is not received by due date, an registration & official transcript hold will be placed on the student’s account. This will prevent the student from confirming his/her class schedule, making any changes to a schedule or receiving an official transcript. Non-payment may also result in the cancellation of classes.
|A||The top of the Account Statement lists contact information for Student Financial Services, the ID and name of the student responsible for the account, and the date the statement was issued.|
|B||Previous Balance indicates your account balance from the previous month’s statement.|
|C||Current Transactions include charges and payments made during the prior month. Note: Payments and other credits are indicated in parentheses.|
|D||Account Balance reflects your account balance as of the statement date.|
|E||Deposits and Prepaid Scholarships indicate your paid deposits and scholarships by semester. Note that as you enter a new semester, paid deposits and prepaid scholarships will appear under Current Transactions in parentheses.|
|F||Projected Transactions are upcoming charges and projected financial aid by semester|
|G||This line shows the total due for each semester.|
|H||This line shows payment due dates for future semesters.|
|I||This section lists the Balance Due, which is the total of the first two columns. If you wish to add money to the Deacon OneCard, write in the amount, then add that amount to the Balance Due to calculate your Total Balance Due. Payment is due by the date listed below the total.|
The University issues paychecks for campus jobs through the Payroll department. Student Financial Services cannot direct deposit paychecks into student accounts.
Athletic scholarships on student account statements reflect the amount that will be applied for:
- student activity fee
- on-campus housing
- on-campus meal plans
- other required fees
An on-campus meal plan will automatically be placed on the student’s Deacon OneCard each semester. Students who are unsure whether an athletic scholarship covers an on-campus meal plan should not purchase a meal plan until they have contacted the Athletics Office of Compliance.
Any athletic scholarship funds for books will not be included in the award shown on the statement. Contact the Athletics Office of Compliance about receiving these funds.
Deacon OneCard & Vehicle Registration
Athletic scholarships cannot be used to add funds to the Deacon OneCard or for vehicle registration.
